Nirlep Chahal

With over ten years of experience practicing exclusively in Family Law, Nirlep is a dedicated lawyer known for guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging moments with clarity, empathy, and a results-focused approach. She handles all areas of family law including separation and divorce, child decision-making and parenting, child and spousal support, and division of family property.

Nirlep brings a balanced and pragmatic perspective to every matter. Prior to joining Sadiq Law, she served as an Enforcement Services Officer at Ontario’s Family Responsibility Office, where she managed complex interjurisdictional support enforcement cases. Her outstanding client service was recognized in 2014 with the BRAVO Award from the Assistant Deputy Minister.

She is a skilled negotiator who works to resolve disputes outside of court whenever possible, but advocates confidently and persuasively in litigation when the situation calls for it. Her goal is always to deliver practical, affordable legal solutions that empower her clients to move forward with confidence.

Outside of her legal practice, Nirlep is a mother of two who enjoys traveling and exploring new places with her family. Her experience as both a parent and a legal professional gives her a grounded perspective that she brings to every client relationship.
